If Kurt had meant the letter only for Courtney and Frances, do you think he would have referred to them throughout in the third person?
The last four lines of the so called “suicide” note are written in a completely different style. The formation and spacing of the letters and their relation to the other letters, their slant etc looks like they were written by someone other than Kurt.
If you are brainy, and you have read it unabridged elsewhwere, you will realise that it is not like a suicide note. In fact, it is like the note of someone retiring from the music industry. He does no mention dying, ore suicide, or anything, until the handwriting changes. Make your own descisions. He could not take fame. He namechecks Freddie Mercury, who could. There was discord in the band, and Kurt was never really hapy being successful.
Kurt was never intending to be famous. He was also quite happy to be normal. He didn't want to be here, but this letter is not a suicide note. I should know. It is a note of resignation. He just wanted to be out from the public eye.
